Who is Cristian Costas?

Cristian is a gastroenterology dietitian specialising in coeliac disease. He currently runs a dietitian-led coeliac service with the support of gastroenterologists at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and he also works in private practice supporting patients with coeliac disease and gluten-related disorders through City Dietitians.

Cristian has worked in the NHS for over 7 years and he also guest lectures at universities about service development and coeliac disease.

In 2021 he was a double CN award winner as Social Media Personality of the Year and Clinical Nutrition Professional of The Year.

In 2020 he was also awarded the GUTS UK dietitian recognition award for showcasing the cost-efficacy of the dietitian-led coeliac service he set-up at Bradford.

Cristian is also involved in research and raising awareness of coeliac disease across different social media channels.
